Abstract
Security constitutes an important aspect of supply chain operations where the risk of terrorism, by its definition, has been a major concern (Voss et al., 2009, Urciuoli, 2010, Marlow, 2010). The risk of tampering with cargo and smuggling explosives in legitimate containers has raised security issues in port specific export supply chains.
