Abstract

The ageing population has been an important issue in recent all over the world. According to a report of World Health Organization (WHO, 2012), the world's population of people 60 years of age and older has doubled since 1980 and is estimated to reach 2 billion by 2050. The proportion of the world's population over 60 years will still double from about 11% to 22% between 2000 and 2050. Moreover, the number of people aged over 80 years will quadruple in the same period.
