Abstract

While Thailand benefits from being one prime tourism destinations on earth, Chiang Mai has traditionally been top five most popular cities for tourists in the country. Welcoming over 10 million visitors in 2017, Northern Thailand in general and Chiang Mai in particular, is presented with significant challenges regarding the maintenance of its innate natural beauty, abundant resources and enriching cultural heritage.
