Abstract
Recently, an increasing number of natural and man-made disasters have occurred in many regions in the world, killing thousands of people and causing millions of indirect beneficiaries. Logistics has always been an important factor in humanitarian aid operations. Humanitarian logistics focuses on efficient management of flows of goods, information and services, to meet the urgent needs of affected people under emergency conditions (Kovács and Spens, 2007).
