Abstract
Most of the goods in the world today are manufactured in Asia due to affordable labor cost and finished goods are transported to the other parts of the world via containerized sea shipments. Many manufacturing companies choose to ship their products by purchasing full containers and take the responsibilities for packing the goods themselves. This is known as the Full Container Load (FCL). Another shipping option is known as less-than-container load (LCL).
