Abstract

Studies of supply chain innovation (SCI) tend to focus on identifying antecedents for innovation (e.g., Grawe, 2009) and innovation process (e.g., Krabbe, 2007; Wagner, 2008) in a supply chain or network context but less is known about the types of innovation actually being created and how they were created. Systematic research and knowledge about SCI is under developed (Arlbjørn et al., 2011).
