Abstract

Starting from the late 1990s, Malaysia is looking forward to be an innovation-led economy. The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI, Malaysian science & technology indicators 2010) reported that Malaysia was ranked at 24th in the Innovation, Competitiveness and also ranked at 26th in the Global Competitiveness Index for the year 2010-2011. One of the main contributions of this achievement was rooted from the service sector.
