Abstract
Global organizations have recognized sustainability as an increasingly important strategic goal (Closs et al., 2011) as the general awareness about responsibility and sustainability has significantly grown. Hoejmose and Adrien-Kirby (2012) have stated that sustainability and responsibility in purchasing and supply management is a vital topic driven by globalization, fragmented supply chain and stakeholder pressure.
